Norfolk, Va. – Two cats have died in a Norfolk house fire on Thursday afternoon. A dog was also rescued, NewsChannel 3 has learned.

It happened around 2 p.m. Fire crews responded to a house fire in the 1700 block of Parkview Avenue in Norfolk.

Smoke was seen showing from the burning home. Emergency responders received multiples calls from those nearby. The home is two stories, officials say.

    The fire on Parkview Ave. killed 3 cats and 1 dog. 1 dog Roxy did survive after firefighters revived her at the seen. She is doing wll as on today May 5th
