Are you looking to add a few new items to your collection?

Norfolk International Airport held an auction on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

The auction included surplus airport equipment, unclaimed jewelry, tools, gifts, iPods, watches tablets, cameras and other valuable items, as well as abandoned vehicles.

One man ended up with a large street sweeper, an surplus item from the airport. He paid $5,500 but he isn't quite sure what he'll do with it. He has no need for one but says it was a good deal. He hopes to sell it online for a profit.

Everyone hopes to snag a good deal, but either way, some say it's just fun to watch all the action.

"It's actually entertaining. I'm looking forward to see how the bidding wars go on the cars that I've seen. A lot of people jockeying for position and trying to stake their claims earlier on," says one attendee.

Over 100 people showed up to the auction.
