Portsmouth, Va. – A fire destroyed a home overnight.
Firefighters were called out to a home on Hoover Street around midnight.
When they arrived, they said smoke and flames were shooting from the home.
They were able to put the fire out quickly.
They have not said if anyone was inside the home, or if anyone lived there.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
