Tornado Watch issued for parts of NE North Carolina tonight

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the following counties in NE North Carolina until 1 a.m. tonight: Bertie, Hertford, and Northampton.

A line of showers and storms has developed over central North Carolina.  As these storms continue moving northeast, they have the potential to produce heavy rain, gusty winds and an isolated tornado tonight.
