ERT says software changes, upgrades caused toll transactions to be delayed


If you’re an E-ZPass customer and you have not received your toll transactions within the last few days, you’re not alone.

ERT sent out an alert on March 11th stating that software changes and upgrades are to blame for this.

They say they’ve been unable to send the transactions since February 27th and no transactions for tunnel tolls have been charged to customers’ accounts.

Be aware that none of the transactions have been missed or lost. They expect to process them soon. They will send the transactions over several days to minimize the impact on customers.

Customers should receive another alert once the processing of these transactions begin.

Officials are urging customers who have manual replenishment to monitor their accounts if they’ve been using the tunnels frequently.
