Black ice and sleet: What’s the difference?

Ice caused a lot of problems on the roads this week. But the ice that formed on Monday when the winter storm began and the black ice that developed on Wednesday morning, are not the same.

We wanted to know why, so we sent Meteorologist Dominic Brown into the "science lab" to explain.
