American flags made in China now banned

For years, some of the American flags carried by soldiers, those displayed over foreign bases and those even carried during funeral processions have been made in China.

According to CBS, a congressman who was angered by this fact, took action and wrote legislation which now requires flags that are purchased by the DoD to be made in America.

This law was signed as part of the 2014 omnibus appropriations bill.
