Dominion Power crews are preparing for the approaching winter storm. Trucks are being stocked and fueled and crews are ready to respond if there are outages.

They say they are not expecting a major impact in the Hampton Roads area, but they say heavy, wet snow could cause widespread outages across Northwest and Central Virginia.

Crews have been working through the Southeast Electric Exchange to make sure there are additional resources to augment their crews.

About 600 non-Dominion line crews are coming from other states including Michigan, Louisiana, and Oklahoma and will be here through Friday.

If you need to report an outage, visit www.dom.com or call 1-866-DOM-HELP.
