Virginia Beach, Va. - One person has been hurt in a fire at a Beach home officials tell NewsChannel 3.
Four people and a pet were all home at the time but thankfully they were able to escape.
This happened in the 5300 block of Chelledon Drive on Monday night.
Units arrived on the scene just before 8:30 p.m. and found a bedroom inside of the home fully involved. The fire was declared under control by 8:35 p.m.
The extent of the victim's injuries are unknown at this time. Two other people are also being evaluated on the scene.
The cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
