One displaced after Beach apartment fire

Virginia Beach, Va. – One person is without a home tonight after a fire broke out inside of a Beach apartment.

According to Brian Taylor with the Beach Fire Department, the fire occurred on 301 Wexford Drive in the Hunters Mill Apartments.

Fire crews arrived on the scene at around 10:11 p.m. They were able to put the fire out by 10:25 p.m.

One unit was affected and one person is displaced.

No one was injured.

Officials believe the fire started on the outside or a utility closet.
