Lt. Wesley Van Dorn was 29-years-old. He was one of the two men confirmed dead after a helicopter crashed off the coast of Virginia Beach on Wednesday.
Van Dorn was a 2007 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.
He was one of the Sea Dragon Pilots. Van Dorn was a father of two from Greensboro.
His neighbors call him a family man and they are devastated after hearing the sad news of his passing.
