A fire destroyed a barn in the St. Brides section of Chesapeake on Friday afternoon.
Fires were dispatched to the fire at 556 Margaret Drive just after 3:00 p.m.
They arrived 14 minutes later to find the barn fully involved. It took about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
No animals were in the barn at the time of the fire. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
