HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – At least one person was injured in a morning building explosion in Hanover. The building, which belongs to Commonwealth Building, is located in the 11000 block of South Washington Highway.
When firefighters responded to the explosion this morning, they saw heavy smoke coming from the warehouse, according to Hanover Fire and EMS spokesman Lt. Jason Williams.
The one injured person was transported to VCU Medical Center. That person’s condition has not been released, according to our sister station WTVR.
