Chesapeake home heavily damaged by fire; 5 displaced

A family of five has been displaced after a fire heavily damaged their Chesapeake home on Wednesday.

Chesapeake Fire crews responded to the home at 1521 Linden Avenue at 11:42 a.m.

They arrived on scene to find heavy fire showing in the one-story home. The fire was under control by 12:00 p.m.

Two adults and three children lived in the home. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
