Virginia Beach, Va. - A 53-year-old former Virginia Beach teacher, Guy Wolf, was arrested after police were notified that he was allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student when he worked at the school.
Police say Wolf and the student were in a consensual sexual relationship that happened outside of school between May and June of this year.
Wolf has been a theater teacher with Salem High School since 2004. School officials say he resigned on September 6th after they reported the allegations to police.
Wolf has been charged with felony custodial indecent liberties with a child, and is free on a surety bond until his next court appearance.
NewsChannel 3 uncovered Facebook pictures of Wolf on an out-of-state trip with students dated May 2013, around the time the Beach police say he having a consensual sexual relationship with the 17-year-old student.
Police have not said if anything happened between Wolf and the teen on this trip.
NewsChannel 3 reached out to Virginia Beach school officials about Wolf's role as a theater teacher at Salem over the last nine years. They did not answer questions about whether Wolf participated in any theater activities with students off campus, but NewsChannel 3's digging led to the Facebook page "Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Salem High School - Theatre".
Inside an album titled "Art/theater trip 2013" there are pictures of Wolf in New York City with students.
Wolf declined to answer any questions at his Virginia Beach home Thursday.
Investigators say they are trying to identify other possible victims in this case. If you have any information, please call the Virginia Beach Detective Bureau at 757-385-4101.
