The food drive will be held at Harris Teeter in Kill Devil Hills on Thursday, August 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

More than 11% of Dare County residents live in poverty and the Beach Food Pantry needs help to feed approximately 900 school-age children this year.
"Food is the most important school supply of all - the kids can't do well in school without being well fed," explained Beach Food Pantry President Lorna Ernst.
You can help fill the bus with the following items:
- Canned Pasta,
- Canned Meat,
- Macaroni & Cheese,
- Canned Fish,
