An Oregon woman tried for two years to get Equifax to correct major errors in her credit report.

Julie Miller finally sued the credit bureau and was awarded 18.6 million dollars.

Miller’s lawsuit says she contacted Equifax eight times about the mistakes.

The judgment is the largest awarded to a consumer against one of the major credit bureaus.

It likely will be appealed.
