Portsmouth Police say three surveillance cameras have been stolen from Victory Elementary.

The cameras were discovered missing shortly after contractors discovered that all twenty rooftop air conditioning units had been manually shut down.

Employees had noticed the air conditioning units were not working and contacted the repair company.

Portsmouth Police responded after the repair company found the twenty units with their breaker switches in the off position. No additional damage was found.

The surveillance cameras were found pulled from the walls, leaving the wires behind.
