Southampton County, Va. – The Southampton County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police and the Drug Enforcement Agency discovered a marijuana grow house operation inside a residence in Newsoms on Tuesday afternoon.
Police issued the search warrant on the home on Greenbriar Drive around 2:30 p.m.
They seized 99 marijuana plants, loose marijuana, buckets, scales, a pistol and ammunition.
The search warrant is part of an ongoing investigation. No one has been charged at this time.
