Five car break-ins, one vehicle theft reported at Virginia Zoo

Norfolk, Va. - The Virginia Zoo says it’s reviewing policies and procedures after five cars were broken into and one was stolen this weekend.

In a statement, zoo officials said they will revise their policies and increase security patrols in the zoo's parking lot.

NewsChannel 3 reached out to police about the incidents, but we have not heard back yet.
