LIVE: Antares rocket launch aborted

Orbital Sciences Corporation, a commercial partner of NASA, was to launch its first Antares rocket from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Wednesday.

However, approximately 13 minutes before the launch was scheduled, the mission was aborted.

NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility has launched more than 16,000 aerial vehicles in its 68 year history. However, Antares is the largest and first liquid-fueled.
