Man accused of gang attacks turns himself in to police
Newport News, Va. –A suspect accused of violent gang attacks is behind bars thanks to NewsChannel 3.
Newport News police say a man suspected of several robberies and assaults turned himself in after seeing his picture on NewsChannel 3.
Twenty-year-old Donell Howard faces robbery and conspiracy charges in connection to a bike robbery on 33rd Street.
In Hampton, he’s also charged with eluding police and possession of marijuana.
Newport News police say Howard is associated with the 33rd Street West Side Piru Street Gang.
