Lady Spartans win opening round of MEAC tournament

March Madness is here and underway at the Norfolk Scope. The MEAC tournament kicked off this week.  In the opening round game it was the Lady Spartans and the Lady Rattlers of Florida A & M.

NSU has not beaten FAMU since 2005. Would their luck change?

Then watch the ball movement by the Lady’s; four people would touch the ball before Batavia Owens puts it in. The Spartans were up by 6.

The Lady Spartans won the game 72-55 and they’ll play North Carolina A and T next.
