Whole Foods coming to Newport News
Newport News, Va. – Whole Foods has announced it will open a store in Newport News.
According to Whole Foods media spokesperson Defausha Hampton, Whole Foods Market appreciates the interest and excitement that its current and potential customers have in its plans to open a store in Newport News, Virginia. She says Whole Foods will announce any news as soon as it can.
Whole Foods Market Regional President, Scott Allshouse, says, “We are excited to announce one of our newest locations in Newport News, Virginia. Only 35 miles from the Virginia Beach store, we are excited to continue expanding and opening our doors in an area that has welcomed and allowed us to become part of the community. We can assure the residents will also have a customized store designed with them in mind and we will create a unique and convenient shopping experience complete with the highest quality products, services and amenities.”
The details for the new location are still coming together, officials say.
A spokesperson confirms that the new store will be located at Oyster Point Road and Jefferson Avenue; and the projected opening date will be 2015.
