VIDEO: It’s raining spiders in Brazil
Arachnophobes beware! This video may give you nightmares.
Video posted to YouTube this week shows what appears to be spiders raining down from the sky in Santo Antonio da Platna in Brazil.
Upon closer inspection, it appears they’re spinning a web curtain of sorts, which waves in the wind.
They appear to be a species of “communal” spider. Communal spiders are known for working as teams to catch large prey, according to Huffington Post.
