Thousands raise over $1 million for Special Olympics at the Polar Plunge

Over 3,000 people hit the Oceanfront yesterday to jump into the frigid water at the Polar Plunge.

The brave swimmers joined a team from NewsChannel 3 in water that was in the low 40s.

The event raised over $1 million for Special Olympics.
