Police: Man steals church van in Portsmouth, crashes into building
Portsmouth, Va.–Police have released the charges one man is facing after they say he stole a church van and then crashed it into a building trying to get away.
36-year-old Malcolm Boykins was arrested Sunday night.
He’s charged with grand larceny felony eluding police reckless driving and destruction of property.
Police say he crashed into a building at the intersection of High and Effingham Streets.
