SC teacher allegedly stomped on American Flag

A South Carolina teacher is accused of stomping on the American flag as part of an inspirational lesson.

One parent says he was shocked at what his son said he saw in class. School officials say they have removed the teacher through the rest of the year, while they investigate.

The teacher says he meant no disrespect and was only trying to show his class that America was an “inspirational idea” and greater than the material objects that represent it.
