Update: Man shot in leg during Virginia Beach robbery

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are now searching for suspects after a person was shot in the leg during a robbery on Monday near the Oceanfront.
On Monday, December 10, 2012, Virginia Beach emergency teams received reports of gunshots fired around 2:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of Peace Square in Friendship Village Apartments.
Police say two victims were robbed at gunpoint by an unknown black male. The victim of the gunshot wound was shot in the leg.
The second victim was not shot, but reported he was robbed of cash. Police believe there was more than one suspect.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, in his mid 20s, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
This case remains under investigation by members of the Virginia Beach Robbery Squad.
