We start with a special tribute, put on by the family of murdered Norfolk mother Phylicia Robinson on Sunday.
They celebrated her birthday, and are keeping her memories alive.
This would normally be a happy day for the family of Phylicia Robinson.
Today,not so.
"She's not gonna be here with us, she's, she's not here."
"Talk to mommy, okay?"
"She can hear you, talk to her, it's her birthday, tell her happy birthday."
"Happy birthday, mommy."
Phylicia Robinson's young son Tyshawn clutches a teddy bear for comfort, as he looks at the special birthday memorial for his mother.
Sunday, Phylicia would have turned 27.
Even though she's not with them anymore, it didn't stop her family from gathering outside her home to mark this day.
It has certainly been a tough road for Phylicia's family.
"So many different emotions, I think all combined in one, which is very hard to deal with, 'cause you don't know how to let them all out at the same time."
She vanished in October, and the family spent weeks and weeks handing out flyers and searching for her.
Then, in late November, police say her remains were found in the closet of her neighbor Jamiel Graves' house.
He'd already been charged with killing Mandi Myers, the mother of his children in Virginia Beach last month.
Robinson`s family says she had no relationship with her accused murderer, other than the fact that they were neighbors.
"I don't know if there's even know if there's ever gonna be any justice, because it's not gonna bring her back."
But today, it's about being together to celebrate Phylicia's birthday, as they grieve her loss.
