Reports: Homeless man captured in viral photo shoeless again; upset about picture

NewsChannel 3 has new information about the homeless man who captured national headlines after a photo of a New York City cop giving him boots went viral.

According to a New York Times report, 54-year-old Jeffrey Hillman is shoeless again.

Hillman reportedly said he hid the boots because they’re worth a lot of money.

And while he is grateful for what the officer did, he is upset about his new worldwide fame saying that no one asked his permission before posting the picture.

Hillman told reporters that he now wants his piece of the pie.
