USS Carr and the USS McFaul to return home
Two more Norfolk based ships are coming home over the next few days – the USS Carr and the USS McFaul.
During deployment the USS Carr stopped a ship carrying more than 1,700 pounds of cocaine.
The crew off loaded the drugs in Florida earlier today.
This is the last deployment for the USS Carr.
The USS McFaul left Norfolk in February.
During deployment, the ship was sent to Libya after the U.S. Embassy attack.
The USS McFaul returns on Sunday and the USS Carr will get back on Monday.
