Four $1 million Powerball tickets sold in Virginia
While no one in Virginia won the big prize, four people in the Commonwealth did win $1 million.
Sales of Powerball tickets in Virginia generated about $13.3 million in profit.
Four tickets bought in Virginia matched the first five numbers to win $1 million each. Those tickets were bought at:
* 7-Eleven, 5267 Lee Highway, Arlington
* Sali Mini Mart Discount Tobacco, 1721 Roanoke Road, Daleville
* Mr. B’s Welcome Center, 3833 North Valley Pike, Harrisonburg
* Kroger, 901 North Lombardy Street, Richmond
An additional 15 tickets in Virginia each won $10,000.
The winning numbers were 5-16-22-23-29 and the Power Ball number was 6. Two tickets matched all six numbers to split the $587.5 million jackpot. Those tickets were bought in Arizona and Missouri.
