Reports: Hampton police chief steps down

According to the Daily Press, Charles Jordan, Hampton's Police Chief, has resigned after 8 years. 

He had been placed on administrative leave with pay in October. 

Officials were conducting reviews into an undercover cigarette sting run by the department.
