WTKR NewsChannel 3 has learned of the passing of a sailor assigned to a Naval Special Warfare unit in Virginia Beach.
According to the Department of Defense, Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew Kantor, 22, of Gillette, New Jersey died while supporting stability operations in Zabul, Afghanistan.
