On Election Day Virginia Beach will vote on light rail
HRT is giving citizens a chance to see what their options are.
They are looking at what to do with the former rail line that runs from Newtown to Birdneck Road.
The options are:
Extend the tide from Norfolk into Virginia Beach.
Build a rapid transit bus line.
Enhance the local bus service.
Do nothing at all.
An open house was held on Monday night at TCC.
There will be seven other open houses between now and November with the information.
