Portsmouth police investigate two shootings in Churchland

Two men were shot in the Churchland section of Portsmouth on Wednesday.

It happened a little after 5 near Georgia Court and Twin Pines Road.

Police were originally called to the area for a robbery, but then got a call for gunshots.

They found two people shot.

They were taken to different hospitals and should be okay.

As for the robbery, officers say they arrested a person in that case.
