Curls for a Cause to be held this weekend

All you natural beauties can take action this weekend for an amazing cause.

The non-profit Naturally Glam is hosting Curls for a Cause.

The event highlights being naturally beautiful.

But even more than that, money raised from the event will benefit two local organizations, Beautiful Kids and She-Matters Girls.

Beautiful Kids’ main goal is to find a cure for alopecia, a major disease behind baldness.

The Beautiful Kids organization provides wigs to children with the disease all over the country.

The ‘She Matters Girls’ organization works with tween girls and teaches etiquette and encourages self-determination.

The Curls for a Cause event is sure be jam-packed full of activities.

It’s at the McGrew Towers Conference Center in Hampton.

Tickets are 15 dollars at the door.

The conference starts at 2 p.m. and speakers will talk about hair care, beauty, fashion and building self-esteem.
