Police: Cab stolen, driver shot in Newport News
According to Newport News police, a 41-year-old cab driver is in the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries after they say a man stole his cab and shot him.
The incident occurred in the 600 block of Rhoda Drive. Police say he was picking someone up in the Denbigh area of the city.
The cab was found on Chester Road in Newport News
The suspect is now in custody police say.
