Investigators are trying to figure out if a man shown in photos shoving a rifle in a clerk’s face is the same person who was shot to death at another store this week.

The robbery that ended with teen brothers shot to death was very similar to another robbery in Gates County.

About a month ago on April 26th, three young men robbed the Duck Thru Convenience Store in Edenton.

One of the robbers threatened the clerk with a shotgun.

All of the men were wearing camouflaged bandanas over their faces, heavy coats, and gloves.

They took the cash and ran.

The Gates County sheriff says the weapon and the outfits were very similar to the attempted armed robbery in the Hobbsville community Tuesday night.

Deputies say Eddie and Quintin Felton tried to rob the Joppa store.

But the owner fought back and shot and killed both men.

If you know anything about the Duck Thru robbery–the Edenton police department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
