Today the city manager recommended going with a plan from the Cordish Company.
It would include live entertainment and restaurants.
He wants the city to continue discussing the possibility of building a hotel and convention center in the area.
No votes were taken. It's just the city manager's suggestion.
Council will have a work session to discuss the plans next month.
