Navy to meet with jet crash victims in Virginia Beach

Navy officials will hold a meeting in Virginia Beach to update the people affected by the F/A-18 crash on the status of compensation and assistance available to them.

So far, the Navy has been providing money for food, clothing, and lodging for the people who live in Mayfair Mews Apartments on Birdneck Road.

The Navy has also been helping those people to find new homes.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Training Academy located on Integrity Way.

It's only open to people who live in the apartments.
