The newest addition to KJ’s Kids, where local students shine in STEM education, is Camille Tolliver.
Camille is a 2nd grade student at Larchmont Elementary. The aspiring scientist showed us her love for science with this exercise.
Camille took on the challenge of creating a lava lamp. Her experiment was composed of several ingredients, most of them common household items like food coloring, seltzer, cooking oil and tap water, that she combined in a glass container.
Watch the video to see her lava lamp come to light.
S is for science, T is for technology, E is for engineering and M is for mathematics.
