Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
A cool start to the work week… Temperatures will return to the upper 60s today, about 5 degrees below normal for this time of year. A weak cold front will move through this morning, bringing us some extra clouds with an isolated shower possible. Winds will pick up today, turning from SW to NW at 10 to 15 and gusts to 25 mph.
The cooler temperatures will continue for the first half of the work week. Expect highs in the mid 60s Tuesday with more sunshine. Highs will return to the upper 60s on Wednesday.
A big warm up moves in for the second half of the week. Highs will climb to the upper 70s on Thursday and into the 80s for Friday and the weekend. Most of the work week will be dry with a mix of mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We are watching a chance for showers trying to sneak in for the weekend.
