Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Extreme temperature swings to end the week… We will see cloudy skies and showers this morning, but the soggy weather will not last all day. Showers will move out by mid-morning and clouds will start to clear through midday. Highs will climb to the upper 70s this afternoon, almost 20 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Even warmer air moves in on Friday with highs in the low to mid 80s. We will see a nice mix of sun and clouds tomorrow with low rain chances through the day. Winds will ramp up on Friday with gusts to near 30 mph. Showers will build in Friday night, ahead of a cold front set to move through on Saturday.
The cold front will bring in another round of showers and a big cool down. Expect showers Saturday morning with rain chances tapering off through the afternoon. Temperatures will start in the low 60s Saturday morning and fall into the mid 50s by the afternoon. Sunday will be the coolest day of the week with temperatures struggling to reach 50 degrees.
