A soggy and windy Monday… We will see cloudy skies with widespread rain this morning through midday. Showers will taper off this afternoon and clouds will clear out this evening. It will be windy today, north at 10 to 20 with gusts to 30 mph (gusts to near 50 mph for the OBX). Temperatures will linger in the mid to upper 50s most of the day.
Tomorrow will start with sunny skies, but clouds will return for the afternoon. Scattered showers/storms are possible tomorrow afternoon to early evening. It will be windy again tomorrow, SW at 10 to 20 and gusts to 30 mph. Highs will warm to the low and mid 70s.
Wednesday will be sunny and cooler. Highs will only reach the low to mid 60s, about 5 degrees below normal. Expect sunshine all day with winds relaxing. Rain will return Thursday to Friday.
