Much cooler with rain moving in… High temperatures will only reach the mid 50s today, about 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. We are tracking an area of low pressure that will move across the southeast and off of the Carolina coast. Clouds will build in this morning and we will see mostly cloudy skies for most of the day. Scattered showers will build in this afternoon and rain will become more widespread tonight.
Widespread rain will continue overnight and into Wednesday morning. Most of the area will see about 1” of rain, with higher totals possible in NC.
