Another rain chance today… We will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies today, more sun in the morning and more clouds in the afternoon. A scattered shower or storm will “pop up”, mainly this afternoon. Severe storms are not expected but heavy downpours are possible. Highs will only reach the upper 80s today, near normal for this time of year. Afternoon heat index values will reach the low 90s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be the nicest days of the week. We will see more sunshine with a lower rain chance. High temperatures will linger in the upper 80s to near 90 with afternoon heat index values in the low to mid 90s.
Heat and humidity will build for the end of the week. Highs will climb to the low and mid 90s for Friday and the weekend. Afternoon heat index values will reach to near 100 on Friday and to 100+ this weekend. We will also see scattered showers and storms return with a mix of sun and clouds.
