Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Another warm day with severe storms possible… Temperatures will climb to the low and mid 80s this afternoon, almost 20 degrees above normal for this time of year. Another wave of scattered showers and storms will move through this afternoon to early evening. Strong to severe storms are possible, with gusty winds and heavy downpours.
Thursday will bring yet another chance of scattered showers and storms as a cold front moves through. Highs will reach to near 80 on Thursday before cooler air moves in. The biggest chance for showers and storms will move in through the midday hours tomorrow. A strong to severe thunderstorm is possible.
Temperatures will cool about 20 degrees for Friday with highs near 60. We will see sunny skies on Friday with strong winds, WNW 15 to 25 with gusts to near 35 mph. Saturday will be sunny, but clouds and rain return for Easter Sunday.
