Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

More sunshine and a warm up… Areas of frost this morning for the inland Southside and inland North Carolina with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. Closer to the water, temperatures will start in the 40s. We will see sunny skies today with highs in the low 60s, warmer than yesterday but still below normal for this time of year.

We will warm to near 70 on Friday with a nice mix of mostly sunny to party cloudy skies. Winds will ramp up again tomorrow, SE at 5 to 10 in the morning to SW at 10 to 20 in the afternoon.

Rain returns this weekend. Expect mostly cloudy skies with showers Saturday morning to midday. Showers will taper off and clouds will break up Saturday afternoon with highs in the low to mid 60s. We will warm to the upper 60s on Sunday, near normal with a mix of sun and clouds. Another round of rain will move in Sunday night to Monday morning.
